Yes, it's got a Hemi....was the first thing I thought as this massive Ram stood in the middle of the road between us (me and the dog) and the rest of our morning walk. we got within about 30 yards of him (which was surprising), then he turned looked straight at us (a little disconcenrting to be honest) and then calmy turned tail and climbed up the side of the rock cliff in front of us.
Once he knew he was out of harms way, he stood and watched us pass by before climbing striaght up even higher.

If you've never seen a Bighorn (or Mtn. goat) climb, it is a thing of wonder. It's almost as if they have a skyhook attached. Almost surreal in the way they can walk up an almost vertical rock bluff. It's a pretty cool sight ot behold, especially when it is taking place almost in your backyard.

Neat...only ever saw them from distance when living around Yellowstone. Really really wanted to see one actually running around on the mountainsides.

I've missed out on great photo ops of this Ram as well as the coyote the other week. Maybe I can convince him to carry the camera from now on.
