Hmmmm, interesting read. Can't say I'm completely surprised with the advance in technology. Good thing my daughter got her iPhone stolen.

    Thanks for the link!

Only with a previously installed software. It's like $100 and it can only be done before it's stolen. Trust me, I asked.

You have to specifically enable that function for each photo. Further, most photo sharing sites convert the photo to a JPEQ or Bitmap image, so that extra data would likely be stripped in many cases.

Technically any phone can be traced using the internal GPS - that's how mobile 911 works. However, you can't realistically track down a phone without some sort of "Lojack" type software. Of course, in theory, any calls made on the phone could be traced to their relative location to the tower they was placed on, too - that is if the phone company was willing to give out that information to anyone other than the police with a warrant.

Omg...so many of this apps are useless. I'm seeing very many others that I would use. I did get the IMDB app and it comes in handy for TV schedules and coming attractions. I found a Weight Watchers app so I can show Cindy how many points those mixed drinks are.

That's good to hear. I found that article a little scary.

Like I said, these are new to me and I don't understand all of what they do...but a friend showed me the Bump app today. We simply held our devices in our hands and bumped knuckles, then they instantly swapped contact info.

Downloaded The Fast and Furious game app (free) last night. Driving games are pretty neat....you hold the device and steer it as if you're holding a steering wheel. Very fun!

Check out a game called Dark Nebula. It's free and pretty cool. It's like that old maze game where you tilt the board to keep the ball going in the holes but this one is on steroids.

Hehe....and Apple is coming out shortly with their next device, prolly a tablet.
Don't we already have cheap laptops and netbooks???? If I'm gonna pay up to 6 beans for a tablet, I'd get a laptop instead.

You know it's only a matter of time before there's a "smell-o-vision" app.
