There are so darn many to pick from, what do you like? Mine is fairly new to me and so far I am using the apps for Facebook, Google Earth, IMDB, and a piano playing thingie. Well and a few other cheesy ones like the guns and beer apps.![]()

iPhone will prolly be my next phone - I've played around with em and they look pretty functional
Some apps will have a lite version you can get for free. Try them out and if you like, pay the normal price.
I use an app that lets you convert millimeters to inches and other conversions.
I use it alot when I am working on my rc planes since most items are measured via millimeters.
I think it was 99 cents and to me, well worth it. I also use Dictionary and google earth. Have a bunch of games like solitaire and other card game plus tetris and others.
I have over 800 songs on my Ipod Touch. Its the 32 gig version. The Wifi works great on it!
Would have gotten an Iphone but I don't like ATandT.

I purchased an app last night that seems like a pretty good deal. It is called Appbox Pro (.99 cents). The app opens up and contains 21 individual apps. It has a ruler, flashlight, tip calculator, dice game and several others.
The app I've had the most funs with is a free one called FaceGoo.It lets you alter and warp pictures....pretty funny.

I can't recall the name of my personal favorite. Redbar or something like that? Anyhow, you use it scan barcodes of different items you're looking to purchase. It then scours the interwebz for the lowest price you can find. I use it all the time haggle over price or confirm what they have is a good price. This weekend, I was at Mills Fleet Farm and came across a nice Miter Saw Stand (been looking for one for the basement I'm finishing). They were asking $90. I did the scan, and everything I've seen online has it for over $150. Plus, you can often get the reviews when doing that. It's my favorite.
Very functional, IMO, but at the same time lacks a couple basics that most other phones have. My biggest gripe is the contacts folder. You can't put contacts into groups and you can't mass text. Most you can text at once is 8 or something close to that. Frustrating but not a deal breaker. There is an app out that has great reviews, but it's $4.99 and apparently Apple won't let app makers do a mass text one!!!I'm holding out for an Apple update like they did before. Hopefully they'll do right by the consumer.......hopefully. All in all though, love it!!!!! Oh, and it doesn't support Flash. Again, frustrating but wasn't a deal breaker for me.

I have a touch that I just use as an Organizer, but our kids have IPhones. They like them, but also said it's the worst phone they've ever had. Lots of dropped calls, poor quality etc. May be just our coverage up here in Canada though. They said they wouldn't switch though so it can't be that bad.
AppleInsider | Inside the iPhone 3G dropped call complaints
I love my iPhone.
Only complaints:
No Flash support - makes some websites useless
No PDF support - Clients can't send me PDFs for review
Can't run multiple Apps at one time (most phones don't though)
Have not paid for an app yet, as most of them I don't find all that usefull. Don't get me wrong, there are some really good pay apps out there, but for my purposes, I don't need them.
Some of my favorite free apps:
The Weather Channel
SketchBookX (great little drawing app)
Eurosport - Helps me keep track of F1, WSBK, and other racing (good if you like soccer too)
SportsTap - Helps me keep track of NHL, NFL, and American racing
I won't list all the games. I download free ones, play them for a while, delete them then load more....
Oh, I also use the preloaded Maps app all the time.

Anyone using there's as their GPS?
Death of the GPS
I saw something pretty creepy (take note if you have kids). Pics taken with a iPhone contain .xif data. This data can be read and traced. Here's an example.....say your daughter takes some cute little self pics at home for an online social networking site. Someone can read the exif data and read personal info and gps coordinates of where the pic was taken. Then use something like Bing maps and track exactly where the pic was taken. I saw an example of a pic, name, age, address and even a birdseye view of the house. You see how this could be bad?
