I want to add my comments regarding all the friendly American folk we ran into on my recent trek through Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. My wife and I would stop at a rest stop, scenic lookout or gas station and it would be so easy to strike up a conversation with anyone especially the bike folks. I don't have a bike right now but once I told them I was considering getting back into it they were all very friendly. We'd talk on for a while about their trips and all offered me pointers and such in my search for the right bike for me. It was no surprise that many riders said that I should consider a Nomad for my wants and needs. One particular Harley guy I met in Manistique, Michigan told me his next bike would be a Kawi Nomad. He even gave me his email address and to give him and his wife a shout when I got my bike and we were around their area in Illinois/Wisconsin, we could hook up.

I hadn't travelled in the US for a few years but, it was great to find out that our neighbors to the south were just as nice, hospitable and friendly as I remember from years past. When I do get my Nomad, our first long ride will be back to those areas we just travelled.
