Interesting! The APE engines I saw in Italy were Piaggio turbo diesels in the neighborhood of 500cc, used in small three-wheel applications - small delivery vehicles for narrow streets in many Italian towns. The ones in the video must be a later development. The racers in the video look like fun!!
