Years, they tend to go by quickly sometimes. Can't believe Chelsea and I have been married 8 years now (well, the 8th anniversary happened yesterday), but I'm quite thankful for those 8 years

I bet you can't do with your 439 lb CBR what this lady can do with her 540-lb ZRX 1200R:

Sorry Josh, but that post rubbed me entirely the wrong way and very disrespectful toward women, especially after one post in particular you made a while back.

Funny...I made one mistake accidently calling my girlfriend by the wrong name and im super disrespectful towards women. Especially after posting them I guess.

I also said IN GENERAL. Meaning for the most part. Not a concrete, 100%, set in stone.

I was joking about the levers and added my own input about what I liked. I never said anything disrespectful to her. Also pretty sure if anyone else made a comment like that, I would have had the same response. I did not make it just because she was a female.

Also bet you cant do this with your Rex . Its easy to find a video of someone on the internet doing it better than someone else. Calm down, it wasnt mean to disrespect her. Just the fact that im 18, you assume I have no respect for anyone or anything. That stereotyping isnt going to get you a lot of respect.

Well, it would seem I hit a nerve with my post.

Josh, I ask that you read this post carefully before responding, then take a moment to see what I'm trying to say in the other post I made as well as the one here.

Well, it's a bit difficult for me to read this as a joke:

Yeah you will totaly need "performance" (aka anestetic) "racing" (replica) clutch and brake levers for all that aggressive riding you do....(actually women in general drive faster and more poorly then men. Men just get more tickets for obvious reasons mythbusters proven).
I read it as being rude and still very disrespectful. First, I'm reading you mocking her riding style, then I'm reading your post making a generalization about women based on a television show. I'm having a difficult time reading that as being simply a joking post. Not once did I reference what you said about your girlfriend, but you did - I find that odd and interesting. My reference was more to the fact that you're commenting on women's driving in general when you yourself were riding the street recklessly.

Josh, I don't make posts like the one I made to step all over your character. I make posts like that because I'm trying to point something out.

Now, if I were really to pick a point of contention that you're disrespectful to women solely on that basis of how you've referred to any of your girlfriends, here's what I would default to:

Regarding the other parts of your reply:

Also bet you cant do this with your Rex.
Never said I could drift my Rex. Besides, it's not a bike I'd use for that purpose, it's too heavy. When I posted that video of the lady on her ZRX doing motorcycle gymkhana, it was to say something to the effect of, not only are their women out there that are good drivers, there are women out there that are good riders, and can outride both of us. I was trying to drive a point home regarding your generalization of women.

    And lastly, this part:

That stereotyping isnt going to get you a lot of respect.
    You yourself said,

actually women in general drive faster and more poorly then men.
And that was posted in reference to a television show. Not thoroughly researched facts that you can cite, but something you claim you saw mythbusters prove.

As you said, Josh, "That stereotyping isnt going to get you a lot of respect."

Making an assumption that I merely see you as some kid simply because you're 18 and I'm 30 is precisely that - an assumption.

12 years separate our ages. 12 years. That's it. There are men and women, 18 years of age, that are in training learning how to operate nuclear reactors (not a joke, when I was 18 I was at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command learning reactor basics); training to become advanced mechanics; in college learning complex sciences; learning how to code and develop websites - your age is NOT what I'm digging on.

    Again, it's not your age.

    It's your attitude.

And also, good Latin quote. So good, in fact, it's written in the halls of a fine educational institution somewhere.

I would say the motor is rebuilt but every State may differ. I really don't know why they would even put that as long as the motor is the original. All VIN numbers match and all that.

No worries there. I'm not the most proud to say I'm a reservist after I was once active duty. But hey, I'm still doing what I gotta do.

Haha..."doin' time"...sure can feel like that at times. I had to get on to one of my Marines because they were complaining...about nothing worth complaining about when things needed to get done. Surprisingly enough...he apologized to me at the end of the day.

Well, didn't quite mean it like that. I agree, at times it certainly has felt that way, but not anymore, thankfully.
