Just sold my R6 last week. Went out this past Saturday and bought a brand new 06 Kawasaki KX100 and 06 KLX110 for my son and brought them home Saturday night. Wake up this morning and they were both gone out of my garage. Some assholes busted the lock on my side garage door and took both bikes! I hate ****ing theives!! God I cant believe I barely had these for 24hrs and somebody came into my house and took them I doubt they will be found but its just wrong on so many levels......

OUCH!!!!!!!!
How the heck did anyone know you had 2 brand new bikes in your garage? It almost sounds like somebody was casing your house. I hope they get caught and you get your bikes back. |

Yea, it might have been as simple as someone in the bike shop you went to or something? Or hell even possibly someone online or watching classifieds or something that knew you were selling your one bike to buy others.

Thanks guys, my homeowners will cover it with a $1000 ded. The sheriff was out here and forensics and took prints but I I dont think they got much if anything, but they only took the bikes nothing else. The only people that knew where i lived was the dealer I purchased them at and it almost feels like a inside job in that respect, but I really dont know who did it. Whats even more scary is that they could have easily got into my house and took our kids..

Man that sucks. I have to agree, it sounds like someone with inside information pulled this one off.
Here's wishing the thieves end up naked and covered in molasses in the middle of a Fire Ant infested field miles from any population. grrrrrr....

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it is time to get a big dog or small gun, or both!

Stuff like this is why when I take my truck in for service and it leaves my sight and the people need the keys, they get a remote and a truck key thats all. Too many times some one has made a copy of a house key for their crook friend and then your house gets broken into.

+1. Sounds a little premeditated or something. Just a little too coincidental. So buy 2 more bikes from the same dealer, take them home, hook up a few car batteries to them, soak the floor, and go to bed. Makes a nice little surpirse for the thieves when they return.

Call your insurance company. Many states allow you three days to get insurance. So if anything happens before then it is covered by your current insurance.

dude, that completely sucks. my insurance company wouldn't cover my DR when it was stolen last year, but that is because it was a registered vehicle. those are both off-road bikes and were inside you garage, its not like you are double dipping. i would definitely stay on them about that, cause that is ridiculous. i can only imagine how ticked off you are right now.
