My friend has it so I wont get it, but I love it so much. He really liked it, said it was very quiet, and had great venting, yet kept from fogging. We were riding in like high 90's in the day and dropping down to low 40's at night.

I've had my RF1000 for a couple years, love it. Read your manual though. I just learned a few months ago, through reading a review of the RF1000 in a magazine about the little lever on the side of the helmet. I knew it could be used to lock the visor but never thought it worked the other way, it cracks the visor just enough to keep it from fogging when it's friggin cold. Works great, way better than cracking the whole visor open to the first notch. Duh!

I wondered what that was. Didn't really investigate though. Like I said, still haven't been able to try it out yet. Wearing it around the house really isn't much of a test.

LOL, you could run real fast and make vroom vroom noises, or stand in front of a fan to test out the venting. Can't be any worse then clumping around the house in my ski boots waiting for it to snow.
