Question Your Dream Helmet ??

I was looking at a picture that daemon posted regarding a helmet he wanted. And it got me to thinking about my dream helmet. I don't curently wear a full face, but have been considering one for the spring and late fall.
So post 'em up. Let's see what you would ask from Santa.

This would be it for me, my dream helmet that is:

Hmmm I quite fancy a Simpson Bandit too, they suit the style of bike I ride. Other than that I love top price Shoei's but sadly they are a bit rich for my wallet...

But lately I find myself gravitating toward this one......

I have a Shoei Z2 that I like. Altho I have never had a dream about any helmet I am partial to Shoei & Arai fit, quality, airflow, weight, etc. I all depends on the value placed on one's head . I feel that if I can spend thousands of dollars on a bike, I should not economize on on my one & only head, ugly as it may be .

I agree with nee and hotshoe, I'm wearing my dream helmet, I love my Shoei RF1000. And trike, get your dream full face and I bet you'll be selling your half shell in the garage sale next year. I loved my half shell when I started riding and thought I would hate a full face, but after wearing both, I couldn't go back to the half shell.

Yikes, I've been hit in the forehead with a dragonfly at about 45 mph.... no way in HECK I'd go with less than a full-face ever, ever again!

Last week I was riding with my visor open and closed it just as I got on a long two lane stretch of hwy. Five seconds later a huge bug splats on the sheild right whear my mouth is. That would have tasted like crap , since then I've been keeping it closed more.

True, but I would have had to go home and floss, thus ruining the ride.

It's a hard decision but for me living in the Wild West...I'd have to go with the horned helmet.

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading from my current HJC to a Schuberth with the fighter pilot style sun-visor built in.

I might be able to KINDA help ya out there.... A friend of mine does vinyl work, and he did a transparent (the stuff you can see OUT of, but appears opaque from the outside) Punisher Skull graphic for his girlfriend's helmet.... it's an all black helmet, and the skull covers the entire front (including visor).... it looks soooo cool!

I see that Senior Lycos and I have a similar concept. Good protection with active noise reduction. Would make for a very comfortable environment to listen to MP3 players, chat with passenger/other bikes and give excellent protection to boot. Just gotta find the right shell to make it happen.

If you do wear one...that should help keep the group together.
