Default things from the '60s

i saw that cudaosix claims to be a WhatsamattaU graduate and i thought of the rocky and bullwinkle show from the '60s. then my untrained mind started to recall things from the '60s and i thought i'd throw it open to see the things we remember from a bygone era.

ratfink
baris custom cars
the munsters
hombre - the first antihero movie
bonanza

have a go at it........

I was born in 62, I was my mom and dads' remote and fine tuner. Bill, go change the channel, Bill,go adjust the rabbit ears. Gasoline was 25 cents a gallon, I would cut yards for baseball card money.

CB radios, eight-track tape players, MD 20-20, full service gas stations, cop cars with a red bubble on top. Nightly news with Walter Cronkite and LBJ's body counts.

I was born in '60: black & white tv, Corvairs & Pontiac Catalina convertables, guys with fatigues and backpacks (relatives who didn't come home from 'Nam alive), everyone's parents smoked, and Neil Armstrong stepping on the moon.

Zed, we are from the same year! I hit 41 in May! Still feel 18 though! I remember some of what you posted...little wax soda bottles, candy cigs and gilligan! Also I Dream of Jeannie, Man from Uncle, Lost in Space and Watchin Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights and Hee-Haw on Saturdays!!! TVs came in big wooden cabinets! Times sure have changed!

I remember watching Disney, Hee-Haw, Wide World of Sports, Wild Kingdom, with my grandparents.

was the guy in Wild Kingdom's name Jim? I bet he wasn't getting paid enough.

you'r older than me, I don't hit 41 till the end of november. right now with the injuries I'm feeling kinda old.
