Default Wondering about Norm and Annie...

Does anyone know when Norm is due home? I'm wondering how his trip has been going.

Dawn, don't forget to update us about Annie! I've been thinking about her all day.

Thanks for the update, Deron. I'm glad he's home safe and sound--and still in an unfrozen state.

Welcome home, Normie!!

Thanks for all of your concerns Julie, I had a wonderful time. I rode the 3's in the hill country. What an awesome place to ride. I put about 2200 miles on, and it was worth every mile. I left Fredericksburg yesterday morning at 9:30 and arrived in Dodge City KS at 7:30PM last night. I clocked 647 miles. I was tired but I could have done more.

I got up this morning and there were showers in the forcast so I waited until about 10:30 before heading out, as it turned out I didn't wait long enough I got wet and the bike was a mess from the road grime. I got home about 2:30 this afternoon and unloaded and headed for the car wash, "Big Norm" looks like new again. I'm ready for another big trip.

Glad you're back safe and sound, sorry to hear you got wet.

I'm planning on making a run around the "3"s later this summer on Constance.

Gotta break her in right don't you know? I should look up Plato and anyone else in Texas that might like to make it a day trip.

Hi Norm! Glad to hear you're home safely and that you had a good time. Wet riding is better than no riding at all! You'll be out here before we know it! Can't wait to ride with Norm and Big Norm.

My body held up well. I never had a moment that I wanted to stop and get off. When I did stop I was only off long enough to fill up with gas, maybe walk in an get a 20 oz bottle of water and drink half. Then when I stopped at the next gas station I would drink the second half and fill up, then climb on and go again. Friday only got about 150 miles on as it was trying to rain there. Unloaded on us Friday night about 11:00PM, they had 5 to 8 inches of rain that night, Saturday morning was sunny and beautiful with a breeze of 5 to 10 mph. What a great day, rode about 350 miles in 8 hr. Most of it in 3rd and 4th gear as the twisties were awesome. Had an hour lunch out of that too.

Well, shoot! Then that ride from Holdrege to Fort Collins will seem like nothing!
