When Whistleclean made his red lodge video and used Blackfoot as the music score, it got me thinking i need to load some good ol Southern Rock to my MP3 player.

I've got selections so far from

The Marshall Tucker Band
Charlie Daniels
Blackfoot
Lynyrd Skynyrd
The Allman Brothers

I even got a few 38 specials but i'm not into them so much.

any other good southern rock groups I should be looking for?

Now I know some of these songs aren't traditional "Southern Boys" songs, but they fit the playlist for me.

Pffftt.... you've got Allman Brothers on there... what more do you need?

Ummm..... let's see.... Gov't Mule fits in well with some of that.... from there you can segue into Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies, and then (if you engage in herbal refreshment) it's only natural to put on some Widespread Panic!
