Default new preamble to the constitution

The following has been attributed to State
Representative Mitchell Aye from GA. This guy should
run for President one day...
"GOD BLESS AMERICA"

We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole
lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and
are so dim they require a Bill of NON-Rights."

ARTICLE I:
You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV,
or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you
can legally acquire them, but No one is guaranteeing
anything.

ARTICLE II:
You do not have the right to never be offended. This
</<country is Based on freedom, and that means freedom
for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room,
turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.;
But the world is full of idiots, and probably always
will be

ARTICLE III:
You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you
stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more
careful, do not expect the tool Manufacturer to make
you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV:
You do not have the right to free food and housing.
Americans are the most charitable people to be found,
and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are
quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after
generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve
nothing more than the Creation of another generation
of professional couch potatoes. (This one is my pet
peeve...get an education and go to work .. don't
expect everyone else to take care of you!)

ARTICLE V:
You do not have the right to free health care. That
would be nice, but from the looks of public housing,
we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI:
You do not have the right to physically harm other
people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or
kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us
want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII:
You do not have the right to the possessions of
others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or
</<services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the
rest of us get together and lock you away in a place
where you still won't have the right to a big screen
color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII:
You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure
want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along
in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of
the opportunities of education and vocational training
laid before you to make yourself useful. (AMEN!)

ARTICLE IX:
You do not have the right to happiness. Being an
American means that you have the right to PURSUE
happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you
are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws
created by those of you who were confused by the Bill
of Rights.

ARTICLE X:
This is an English speaking country. We don't care
where you are from, English is our language. Learn it
or go back to wherever you came from! (lastly....)

ARTICLE XI:
You do not have the right to change our country's
history or heritage. This country was founded on the
belief in God. And yet, you are given the freedom to
believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at
all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase IN GOD WE
TRUST is part of our heritage and history, and if you
are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!

That's pretty good. But, I'll hold onto my "free healthcare system" up here.

Gotcha Joe, hook, line and sinker. I knew that would bring out of the depths.
But seriously, our Healthcare system works excellent, better than nay other i have seen. Sure it isn't perfect, but most of the negative hype comes from parties with very particular interests. I have spent a lot of time within our heaklthcare system, as a patient, a family member, and a supplier. I wouldn't trade it for any other.

good on ya triike.
I have yet to figure out why "free health care" is such a touchy subject in the U.S.
Not that i want to start a war on here...but......well.......seems perfectly logical to me.

I agree with pretty much everything in the original post. Except the last one. No one has the right to make laws and decisions for me, or anyone else, based on thier faith. Regardless of what the nation was founded upon.

But...eh.....well...this is a minefield of danger here.....im going to stop.

Is that the one where white people think they are above everyone else and so they lie to the Native Americans while they take way their land and hunt to extinction their food sources?

Or is it where the ONCE AGAIN WHITE PEOPLE buy other people of darker skin and beat, rape and out right kill other people to make a living... there is a modern day version of this abuse and although not quite the same it can be related... its called people hurting themselves because they lack common sense and then suing companies thus making them wealthy... I also dont agree with this. whats more since I am talking about common sense... there should be no speed limit.. maybe I feel perfectly safe going 120 on highway 5 (it has about 4 turns in 400 miles) by the same token thanks to my comon sense I will not do 120 on a muntain road!

"This country was founded on the
belief in God. And yet, you are given the freedom to
believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at
all; with no fear of persecution."

This contry was based on the opportunity of religious freedom. Puritans fled the protestant English church. Thus trying to escape persecution.

I seem to recall somethign from my U.S. history classes it wsa called the wich trials and the wich hunts of salem... which as it turns out it targeted many women with money, or property in a good location who where widowed...
This can be compared to present day sentiment about muslim people. NO, NOT ALL OF THEM ARE TERRORISTS!.

"This is an English speaking country. We don't care
where you are from, English is our language. Learn it
or go back to wherever you came from!"

This country has no official language (that I know of but I could be wrong) I was told that having a national language would seem as if the country is not open enough and there fore discriminating against certain people... having said that... most businesses are run through the English language, so are the major news papers, 90% of television chanels, and even the road signs are so... if you are going to be here LEARN IT!

"You do not have the right to happiness. Being an

great!

"You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure

great! but remember education is the key
hey I have 2 jobs and im happy with that. no I wont give you 1

"You do not have the right to the possessions of

</<services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the

Sounds great to me....

"You do not have the right to physically harm other
people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or
kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us..."

now it would be great if we could do the same thing to these people as they did to their victims... im sure that would make me think twice....

"You do not have the right to free health care. That
would be nice, but from the looks of public housing,
we're just not interested in public health care."

It would be nice but... I think education needs more money right now...

"You do not have the right to free food and housing."

get out and work! unless you are disabled... I dont want my tax dollars going into supporting lazy people. I work hard for my money every one else should too... if not we could revert to the days where we ate what we hunted.. and if we didnt hunt then we didnt eat... would you like that?

"You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you
stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more
careful, do not expect the tool Manufacturer to make
you and all your relatives independently wealthy."

Yes great! and if you still think you should sue you should be taken out and shot... Lets clean up the gene pool! who's with me!!!!!

"You do not have the right to never be offended. This
</<country is Based on freedom, and that means freedom
for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room,
turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.;

and that is a real shame... you should alwaysbe tolerant of others not everything is black and white.

"You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV,
or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you
can legally acquire them, but No one is guaranteeing

hm... it goes back to not being lazy... work for your stuff.. its common sense

Cuz it's not "free" and does not work.

Look at England if you want to see how wonderfull "Free" healthcare really is

But then again I bet you are not old enough to remember Hillary care and how she really jacked up America's healthcare with HMO's let alone how she shoved her "Free" healthcare program for the nation down the militarys throat & how long it's taken to try and fix that little mistake.

Oh and take a look at England & Canadas taxes & see how much it is "Free" compared to how much you pay in taxes compared to the quality of medical care you recieve.

Bottom line is if you wan't quality health care you pay.

If you want "free" healthcare you pay even more.

honest answer to that....if its free, do we cover everything, or just some things. You will get the woman and her attorney who will sue the government because she needs a boob job to make her feel good about herself.

the school system is free, but with a g/f that works there, you might be surprised how often they are sued because little johhny has other needs different from other children, and the school district ends up paying for it.....our particular school district ( orange county ca.) has a kid in private school in texas, on the tax payers bill

as much as a I love my adopted country ( yeah I love being here), I realize if you give a little, too many will take a mile

I din't realize our healthcare system operated in Wyoming Joe. Given your in depth knowledge of it's dismal failure.
I realize it can be a tough nut to swallow to even talk of a National HealthCare system, that for some it stinks of Socialism, which obviously will turn any good God Fearing country into a likely communist State.
But it works for us. I know this. I live here after all. For me, my monthly HealthCare premium of $54.00 is covered by Tracy's employer. Even if it wasn't, that wsould be the max I personally pay. (Yes, I fully understand that the single largest federal tax expendature is on our Healthcare system. But what is wrong with that, really?)
If you cut all the propoganda out of it, our system plain works. I can honestly say, that in my 37 years of using our Healthcare system, it has never let me down. The past 10 years of which were spent dealing with my now past mothers cancer. The treatment she got, the care from the hospital staff, the care for us was remarkable. I've had enough broken bones to have spent a good amount of time in Emergency Wards, and hile sometimes they can be backed up, I always, always received the best care.
Sure, everyone has a bad horror story about the Canadian healthcare System. I hear it quite often, then when pressed you find out most of it is complete BS. People who complain, will always be people who complain. Nothing will be good enough for them.
At the end of the day, it's more than good enough for me. That's really all that matters to me.

so Joe, you gonna bring you sorry butt to red Lodge next year or what??????

I agree Trikebubble. Living in the Detroit area, I do, and have, worked with quite a few Canadians in the past and present. It's nice to here an 'abooter' say good things about it, cause everybody else says it sucks, with no idea if it actually does... Personally, I think the National Health Care thing can work. All the Anti people drag out the one bad thing that happened to someones Aunts best friends 1st cousin, but they don't want to talk about the thousands of people that die on the streets in the US because they have NO health care. There was a listing in the paper awhile back that ranked the Worlds health care, and the US was ranked in the 20s. Thats nothing to be happy about.
Plus, you guys make good beer, so NOTHING in Canada can be that bad...

You forget my wife is a product of the Canadian health system & so is all my in-laws.

The in-laws hate it period, plain and simple

Did I ever mention the Mother in law owned some oil wells in Red Lodge a few years back (before I knew the Wife & yes she spent quite a bit of time in RL) & yep, she's not exactly in the poor house and does not complain, just states it as fact.

But hey,I'm a product of American health care system & see "free" American health care daily and the scum sucking bottom feeders that abuse the system on a daily basis.

Nobody should recieve "free" health care, why should I pay for somebody elses healthcare while I'm also paying for my healthcare.

It's a slippery slope and once ya start down that road more and more people demand free.....where do you stop.
