Thats the first time I ever saw bike engines in dragsters. Not surprised though.

Stock cars are fairly common, as far as I know. Aren't there a couple of series out their for them. And if I remember correctly, the "Legends" cars could be powered by bike motors.

The really cool ones (in my opinion) are the roadrace cars. SCCA has a couple of "sports-racer" classes that allow bike engines. And some of them are ulta quick. Turning some of the fastest lap times outside of pro-racing.

We have the only series in Canada. But its pretty big in the southern states. They do make road racing cars though. http://www.prochallenge.net/2006_pho...se_car_600.jpg
We had ours on the road course at Mosport. It hit 147mph on the back straight. I like ths sports racers too and have worked on a few in the past. I saw a few funny cars for sale on e-bay but havn't seen any rails yet.

Just a few examples:

Radikal chasis with R1 motor

FZR powered Beasely

"CanAm" style with FZR motor

I'm an SCCA cornerworker, and at least once or twice a season, someone with a D or C SportsRacer sees my bike and asks if I want to sell them the motor!

Honda engines are also used in small dirt cars called "Mod Lites". They used to be called Dwarf Mods but apparently someone complained about the name not being politically correct.
The little buggers really move out. Cost of one is around 8 grand from what I've heard.

Lucky...
