Default Name of your scoot?

In another thread, we've been having in interesting discussion of whether or not motorcycles have a gender. This raises the question in my head, what do you call your bike, if anything?

Mine is Naomi. She was the wife of Elimelech, and the mother-in-law of Ruth in the Bible. The Hebrew name means "pleasant." And that she is. However, like most mothers-in-law, she can cause some concern at times. But, usually because of the way I've treated her.

I haven't settled on a name for my new bike yet.
I was thinking of Ms. PhatGirl, maybe. For the obvious play on words in referance to "another" bike manufacturer's attempt to justify the "Fat" name.

She's Greenie for now... but once she gets some new paint (and is therefore "pretty") she'll be Bettie (after Bettie Page).

My car is The Nanner and the bike is the Nanner Too She's definitely female..and lately I've been hobbling out back to where she's been stored (at the new house) and talking to her. Is that weird? I showed her my boot and crutches and promised her she'd get ridden soon

V2K!!! Im jealous, I want one of those so badly. I test ridden one a few weeks ago and I handled it like a dream. The dealer was shocked becuase the only other bike ive ever ridden is my KE100. Maybe someday ill be able to afford one........(Hey I can dream cant I?)

In the Dine'eh dialect of the Athabascan language family, mine is "lingering post death malevolence". What a mouthful, let me translate...it is Navajo for evil spirit. And trust me, it lives up to it very well.

I call my bike "my bike". Never understood the appeal of pet names for inanimate objects.
