Does anyone have a review they can do yet on the 2008 KLR650.
I am looking at buying a new one myself.

Pick up any current magazine, they all just reviewed the KLR:
Canadian Biker
Rider

that I've read so far.

Just to update this a little.
I bought a 2008 KLR650, and damn is it fun.

I love riding a road, and just turning off at will onto a gravel road or even a trail and exploring.
Too much dang fun.

I love it, its a great feeling to ride an okay road bike to the trails, then turn off into the woods and just keep going...woohoo

From the reviews I've read a great bike just got alot better. Apparently many owners gave direct feedback on what needed improved and Kawasaki listened so the 08 model has some nice upgrades reflecting that.

Congrats on the new bike...AND...where's the pics?

I had a 1999 KLR650, and the new model they made for 2008 is a great improvement in many ways.
No more wimpy forks, brakes that are powerful, super bright headlights, better instrument, less vibration, improved wind protection at highway speeds, etc.

It will cruise comfortably at 130 on the HWY, and then when I get to a logging road or trail, I can just head off and explore.

Great bike for my riding style.
