Man, she's a beauty! I like the flashy red!
Can't wait to hear your review after you've been driving her awhile. I've been eyeing them but haven't made a decision yet. Prolly won't do anything till the 1st of the year. I do like the looks though & will definitely consider one!

Hey!! Good choice!
We just got one a couple of months ago. It's the "slate" color, double cab, TRD off-road, and towing package. My hubby loves it...and it's dozen cupholders! For those folks wanting a comparison let me just say...we drove the Tundra and the F-150 back to back and the Tundra is WAY more refined. It feels luxurious (for a truck!) and has a nice quiet interior. The F-150 was....LACKING. We considered Ford because we get the special good-guy deal, but it just wasn't worth it.

Nice truck!
Who is copying who here? Is Toyota trying to make their trucks look like a Dodge truck? Don't get me wrong...I have a Toyota Tacoma but it's doesn't look like a Dodge like the new Tundra does. Hmmmm.... |

I don't think it looks like the Ram at all! The Tundra is much bigger.

When Dodge dropped the semi look in 94 or 95, everyone slowly followed suit. Almost all the trucks now have the raised grill and lowered headlights.

Cheri and pitch. We just bought a new Nissan Frontier (midsize, not a full size truck like the Tundra). I was down to the Tacoma or the Frontier and didn't really care which one I bought, they are both good trucks. Ended up buying the Frontier for the simple reason that dealing with Toyota dealer was just so much like your worst car buying experience. Waste time with a salesman, make an offer, let me check with my boss, blah blah blah. They know they're doing it, I know they're doing it, so why bother! Almost 2 hours later. ![]() Sat down with the sales manager at Nissan and had a deal we both liked 10 minutes later. Just my experience. Totally happy with the Frontier, we just did a quick 2500km run out to BC and back hauling our appliances on the trailer and the two DRs in the bed. Didn't even know I was towing anything, the truck has way more power than the Honda van did, and it is very quiet as well. It's even quieter than the Honda van was, which I thought was pretty quiet. Seats were very comfortable and never had to start shifting positions after 10 hours on the way home. Averaged 19mpg on the way out loaded and just over 20mpg on the way back, but we were hauling @ss for about 4 hours, running 85-95mph. I'm sure I could get a bit better mileage if I restrained myself. |

Thats a sweet looking truck... I'll be in the market for a new cage soon but I'm leaning towards a sporttrac/escape/nitro/patriot type vehicle.
