Been looking at getting me a new bike. I picked up a copy of Indiana Auto & RV so I could find me one of those "We Finance everyone" places. My credit kinda sucks. But I wanted to find a place that was close to home. Every single one of them places is in Michigan! WTF! Most of them will deliver, but I'm sure it cost extra. I'd rather get a chance to ride a bike before I buy it!
Anyone know any good places like that near Indy?

Sorry to hear that.
Can't help on the 'dealership' question, but if you are looking for one of those 'we finance anyone'... Well. Before I go further, let me be clear that this is not an official endorsement. Any creditor that is willing to finance 'anyone' is looking for your firstborn. Depending on how bad your scores are, you could be looking at an outrageous APR for financing. That said, you could also look at secondary financial institutions that would be willing to work out a personal loan or line of credit. Places like Wells Fargo Financial or HSBC come to mind, so you don't have to worry about financing thru a dealership. In some ways, they work well because it's a way to rebuild credit-worthiness, but they will rip you a new one when the terms are drawn up. Whereas someone like my wife, with impeccable credit, could easily warrant an APR of 4 to 6 on a new car purchase, someone going thru HSBC with shaky credit could easily expect something in the range of the high 20s. Again, it wouldn't be the route I'd go. Depending on your ride, it is feasible to just go the alternate and save, then buy (as I've done for my last two bikes). Plus, places like Craigslist are excellent sources for finding good deals. Of course, I have no idea what you're trying to obtain here, so if you've got the itch and need to scratch like yesterday, then it's entirely up to you. Hope this helps.

Well, I'm going to try to save up about a grand and go through my bank. I had to file chapter 7 back in 05. So my credit is shot. (you know the old story, I was 18, got a credit card, should have listened to my dad about it, within a few years I had 20 cards and was 30k under and still working for min wage)
I'm hoping my bank will finance me. I filed on them, but continued to pay off the remainder of a loan I had with them. The way my bank talks if I put a good amount down on the bike they might give me the loan. Basicly, if I can pay close to the deprisiation of the bike in 5 years they might give it to me. That way, if I default, they won't be out anything. Thats the rought I'm wanting to go. The other place is a backup in case this don't work out. I've read the fine print on those places. You pay like $76 a month for the first year or 2. I like that Idea because my car will be paid off next year. So I can pay on the bike that extra money and kick out the loan before its term is up and save on the intrest. Where those places get you. You take the loan out for 5 years, at $76 a month for 24 months. at an ARP of 7%. After the first 24 months you pay the min payment, which is gonna be pretty damned high sence you've only been paying on the intrest and not on the principal. Its still not that bad of a deal because the ARP stays the same. The problem comes in when you miss a payment. All it takes is one late or missed payment. They then cancel the promotion and jack your ARP to 21%. Thats pretty much how they analy rape you.

Ahh..I used to have a cabin at Dietz lake down in Brazil. Dryer is on West Washington downtown Indy. They have quite a selection as well as a huge warehouse in back full of bikes. If you go there, let me know and I will tell you what salesman I dealed with. He was good.

Dietz lake? I didn't know they had cabins down there. Most of what I saw was run down trailors. I dated a girl that lived there. My mustang sat too low to even drive back there! LOL!
They actualy had a tornado go through Ashboro like a month ago. It did some damage out by the lake too. Anyway, I might swing up there tomarrow if I got time.
