I love buying record on the cheap. I got Jimi Hendrix for 2$. And Elvis Christmas for .50$.

Now, if I only had one of those record playing things....

Yeah, I have Amazon.com: Used and New: Priest They Called Him

It's an interesting spoken word by William Burroughs while Kurt Cobain plays Silent Night in the background, as only he could.

I wouldn't mind having the Doors and Hendrix on disk though. The Hendrix is a live album.

Hey Dave I still have a few albums that I would like for you to burn for me...

I'll still be sending you the Sgt Pepper album (movie soundtrack, the one with Peter Frampton and the Bee Gees) which you can keep.

I'll also be sending you the Iron Maiden Soundhouse Tapes (which you can't keep)

There may be a couple of others, I'll also be burning a few cds for you.
Some that you wanted, a couple of Priest, Halford, Journey...

    wait wait wait...

that crappy album starts selling for $99....
and why exactly is it still sitting in our lounge?

Albums are great indeed. Spok that would be great if you'd rip some to cd for us! Although, I have to admit that the sounds of vinyl are superior to cd's... it's just nitty and gritty.

I have a box (35-40) 33 1/3 vinyl albums in the closet. I don't remember what's om them, but I think I'll drag them out and review. Might have something worthwhile. I've had most of them for over 25 yrs!

Spinning vinyl on my SL1200 now.

Technics making SL1200s is like Kawasaki still making KZ400s.

Yea I love vinyl. I've got about 135 various things but mostly chart toppers from the early and mid 70's. They were all played once to copy to cassette and reel to reel then packed away. Maybe I should dig them out and see if any are valuable. Most of it runs along the lines of Fleetwood Mac, ELO, Foghat, Styx, Little River Band.

You gotta love vinyl. I got a few hundred and I play at least one per day and am still converting them to MP3 and copying to disc.
