Help Synching Palm Treo 700

I replaced my broken Palm Treo 700, and even though I have backup information on my desktop using Palm Desktop, I can't transfer any of the information from the desktop to the new Treo, using HotSynch. FYI, the Treo is the same model as before.

Can anyone help?

You find a biiiiig rock, tie the Treo to the rock with chicken wire, ducktape and miscl rope you would find around your garden shed. Then go to a bridge, cliff or similar formation close to waterbody and toss.................wait?? You said Sync.......NOT sink!!! Sorry, my misstake.

Sorry I cannot be of much help, I literally did the above a few years ago as I swore to never dink with a PDA again

Does it give you any errors? Is the profile name the same?

Have you tried a sync using a Bluetooth link between PC and Palm ??

I had to do a hard reset of my Palm and it worked.
