Insomnia Sucks

It's really not fun especially when you're on enough meds to knock out a small donkey for anxiety and also have meds that make you tired. I just figured I would ramble on here. It sucks being Manic. Don't be manic. That's my ghandi-esque advice for tonight.

the more sleep I get the more tired I am all day. that kinda sucks. I do just fine on 6 hours of sleep.

I range from 4 hrs-10 hrs most of the time. It's like an amusement park for my body.

Work night shift into day 2330-1530 5 days a week and see how screwed up your sleep pattern gets. Then on top of that I start school this week, so even more fun

You got that right... I work 1500-2300 but I'm up all night until at least 0600. It really sucks and Sonota, Ambien and Ambein CR dont work at all for me...

I work 22:30 to 08:00 Mon-Fri. Then sleep regular sleep patterns on weekends. I'm always screwed up for the first half of the week. It sucks.

Thats my problem too, I like to sleep at night on my nights off. That makes the 1st night back to work hell.

Glad I finally got on a day shift so I could get back to sleeping with the living folks. Felt like a vampire all the time when working graveyard shift.

one place I worked rotating shifts. 30 days on each shift. talk about messed up sleep pattern. then went to rotating 12hr shifts. that really sucked.

I've had chronic problems with insomnia for the past 25 years. I've tried just about everything over the years--meds (of all types), biofeedback, relaxation techniques, acupuncture... I've gone to a sleep clinic (no apnea). I'm so tired all the time I can barely function sometimes. I did come upon something that works for me, but it's illegal and expensive, so I use it sparingly. I'm going to ask my doctor, when I see her next month for my annual physical, though, if she'll submit my name for Colorado's medical marijuana program. If I can get into that program, I think I might just be able to start sleeping for the first time in 25 years. Insomnia sucks!!

wish i had insomnia.. haha j/k u dont need insomnia to smoke. Don't quite know when it will be legal, seems as dangerous as alcohol and tobacco.. and coffee.
