Ifin ya ain't heard of Marcus Luttrell then pop over to amazon.com and check out his book after watching the interview. It's a hard hitting emotional book, one that everybody should read at least once if not twice or even three times.
It's a superb little news clip that is a 1st person interview with a Navy SEAL who lost 3 of his team (was a 4 man team) and then the entire SEAL rescue party was killed. Pay close attention to the last part of the video it's downright powerful & what is said and what is not said in the interview speaks volumes. Breitbart.tv » ‘Lone Survivor’: Breitbart.TV Talks to Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell

The sad thing is you could just replace the arm patch that says Iraq with one that reads "Vietnam".
Same **** congress is pulling, different generation.

Isn't it amazing to think a Democrat pushed the button on 250,000 Japanese civies to end the war?
There isn't a Dem. alive today with an ounce of that man's character.

Great interview. Excellent character in the young man. I have nothing but gratitude for the soldiers serving and taking the war to them, because it keeps them from bringing it here. I salute all of you who are and have served, Thanks.

Thanks to guys like RampRat who spread the word that our servicemembers are not the murderers that Rep. Murtha says they are. Perhaps enough people will get the word that we are winning this war before we cut and run like we did in Vietnam. We won the Tet offensive but the media made America think we lost it. Millions lost their lives in the Killing fields thanks to a Liberal media. Never again.....

I believe the ROE serves a very important purpose, but when the enemy can build a plan that takes advantage of how our troops are forced to behave then that purpose is undermined.
It's time to have some changes to how the ROE is implemented in combat situations. Field commands need flexibility to carry out their missions. I'm not saying do away with accountability, but you've got to trust the guys in the field to get it done for you without the puppet strings. Okay, I'm off my soapbox now.
