Default Chicken Noodle Soup & Some Kind Of Monster

Yes, my companions for the time being. I'm stuck here at home nursing a mofo cold, sipping my chicken noodle soup and watching Metallica's documentary Some Kind Of Monster.

I do have the four-legged fur bearer's to keep me company, sort of. The cats couldn't care less that i'm home, and the dog keeps staring at me wondering when he is going to get out for that walk.

Sorry to hear that, hope ya get better fast!!!!

Had something last week that really tore me up & for 2 days I could not eat or drink anything without it coming right back up. Had to take a couple days off from work & even then felt like crud going back to work.

Should have purchased stock in toilet paper as much as I used

However, on the bright side I was able to eat 4 or 5 MRE's before things finally firmed up

Now this afternoon I was cleaning out the garage getting ready for the freezer to be delivered tomorrow & somehow in the process of picking up the old motorcycle pipes the back went snap crackle and pop & down I went.

Was on the garage floor for about 20-30 min till the Canadian life saver got home & was to the point of calling the ambulance for a lift assist (good thing I work for em part time) when she got home. Right now I can hobble about, but in no way is it considered a walk & more like a 99 year old mans shuffle if that good.

Don't know what the hell I did, but somehow I twisted/strained something & have maxed out on the "happy drugs" from the VA & ifin they don't work it's off to the VA's ER to see ifin I can get some Toradol IM or some other pain relief/muscle relaxant.

Am working 12's the next 4 days at the hospital, so hopefully come AM I'll be able to roll out of bed and take the truck to work, cuz in no way can I rid the donercycle like I am right now.

Wonderful

RampRat, sorry to hear that.
My shoulder still hurts from my wreck 3 months ago, and I pulled a rib out of place last week if it makes you feel any better.

Carlo, get better. Those (me) old people are counting on you to go back to work!
