I don't know about GI Joe. But I know Glenn Beck can be as full of crap it isn't funny. I have watched him several times and I can't figure out where he is coming from. I've heard he is Mormon, but he doesn't act like the many Mormons I know. He comes up with some pretty off the wall stuff IMO. I'm a Conservative.

Homosexuality simply 'is' There are good folks and bad folks who are Gay, just like any other generalized by trait type you'd care to mention. I like to consider myself one of the good guys so I'll leave it at, It's America, you're welcome to your opinion just don't be surprised when someone else's is different.

Examples can be given to show that every religion on the planet has been "out to kill everyone" at some point over time. Saying that the religon of Islam is out ot kill everyone is just nonsense.

Show me the last time a Catholic, Baptist, Irish Protestant or even the much hated and singled out Christian flew a plane into a building, or plotted to kill thousands of Americans due to not following a religion.

In todays world it's more offensive to be a white Christian than a person from the middle east who wants to kill those same white Christians.

here is my 2 cents.... Historically whoever wins... was right...when you look at major wars or conflicts... the most notable exception was Vietnam.. somehow they won.. and we were still right ... G.I. Joe was a WWII hero... and then he went to Korea... and then Vietnam... I would hope that he is smarter now..(certainly older) and will be in an advisory role for current and future conflicts

now if you think that sounds stupid...go back and reread what people said in this thread...

Joe, just because it hasn't happened to the same terrible degree in our near past, does not it hasn't happened to the same terrible degree in the past.
People have killed people by the thousands since the beginning of time in the name of their religion or cause.

No one is saying what Islamic extremists do is acceptable or tolerable, and should be dealt with as severely as possible. But it's plain niave to suggest that "Christian" types have not done similar terrible things in the past.

With all due respect, I have only two words for you, "Spanish Inquisition". Thousands were killed and tens of thousands changed their religion so they would not be killed by the Catholic Church.
