This is pretty common for a lot of us, actually. Since my clutch plates are pretty screwed, and I need a clutch cable, the last time I rode was over a month ago. I'd be riding occasionally now in the cold, but I just don't feel like dealing with a bunk clutch cable and slipping plates.
I mean, I'd already do enough getting equipped to deal with the cold - I don't need that added frustration. Dangerous and unpleasant. I've not had the money to really spare for clutch plates and cable, despite being about less than $70 to do, and since it's getting colder I've not been too motivated to get it done. Plus I wanna get a few parts for my truck, and I'm trying to save for a trip. And as such, I've been posting less. I just get lazy. Maybe because I'm not riding I don't wanna be reminded of what I'm missing out on. I know I post and read more here when I'm riding because I wanna know what's going on, make sure nobody's gotten hurt from recent crashes, stuff people have learned that I could use myself, etc. There are just times when I go blank and don't have much to say at all.

I hear ya, Caleb. The KZ sits in garage, forlorn, waiting for us to put shims in it, and throw the motor back in. But it's dark when we get home, and cold, too. So it will take some serious motovation to get this going. It's easy sit inside and order parts, putting them on is another story!

Aye, it sucks to work on stuff when it's cold and dark. God knows I've had my share doing that on my truck. On some occasions around 17 degrees in the wind. Miserable.
I need to move to California.
