No tattoos here. Have thought about it...but then that would be $$$ I wouldn't be spending on my bike.

I love tattoos, but would never get one. Best one I ever saw was my neighbor in college who had a large one of these on the deltoid muscle on his shoulder:

And the bad-boy in the image also had a miniature Bad-Boy-Club tattoed on his shoulder.
And the next-best one I saw was a guy I knew in the Army who had a tattoo with a skull, an M16 and a bayonet with the words "Your death before my dishoner." (AND DISHONOR WAS MISSPELLED!)

I love how these young girls in the suburbs get tattoos to try and erroneously prove that they've had to endure so much hardship in their lives (because of the general notion cultivated by sailors, marines and other military personnel, as well as biker gangs and prison-tattoos). But what can a young lady do when she suddenly turns 25 and that Dale-Earnhardt "03" with an interlacing rose in the foreground tattoo suddenly has lost some of it's bravado?
Comical. 8 years in the killbot-factory (army) and 70,000 miles of riding harleys and I still have no tattoos.

Tattoos are voluntary scars for people who aren't adventurous (or perhaps foolish) enough to go out and get the real thing.

    ouch Chris !

i have four as of this year but none related to bikes.
i will include a couple pics but here's the breakdown
1.left upper arm- sun with Nana'a name (Anna) and "Fallen Angel" in Italian
    2.right shoulder blade-lineman on a pole with a flag
    3.right calve-good size flag
4.left calve-FORD blue oval with POWERSTROKE underneath

ok, well, my pics are too large and they aren't that great anyways, you get the idea.

No motorcycle tats, but upper left arm a custom designed dragon with SS (submarine sailor) inside the curled tail.

thanks whistle. i actually went with the intention of doing something a little different but let the guy, who is a friend of mine so i trust his art, draw whatever he wanted. took a little while, but it was worth it. just a piece of advice, the calve is a bad spot to get ink ! of course he mentioned that to me about an hour into it ! i am not a big fan of pain so i try to put them in places that won't be too bad. yeah, i was wrong on that one ! i was under the needle for four straight hours for the flag, don't think i could do that again. i don't know how some people do it, seeing what is out there !

    OUCH!!!

David....you have just convinced me to use the "peel n stick" tattoos from the crackerjacks box....that way I can just get em wet and apply with "NO PAIN".....when I want to look tuff....and then wipe em off when I want to look wimpy. LOL

When I turn 18 I'm going to get the Kanji character for Konton on my right upper arm I think... just gotta be careful where it goes since the AF is kinda picky about them.

bah! its not that bad, but then again, I've never been under the needle for more than an hour or so.

Usually the area gets numb for me, then about an hour after its done it aches until I go sleep, then its all good after that.

I couldn't agree more. It also makes me laugh when those who express themselves from the endurance of a tragic life at a young age speak as if tattoos and piercings are expressing individualism, yet, most in their age group have them and mostly due to giving in to peer pressure or because others have them.
