I miss my Ruger 10/22 and Savage Anschutz Mark 10 target rifle. (sold them long ago)

One time I got bored punching holes in paper so I grabbed an empty 7.62X39mm casing from the spent shell bucket and put it down range (indoors - 75 ft) and put a hole right through it with the mark 10.
still proud of that after 10+ years

Save that picture and show it to her first date. Might save you some trouble!

I can make my significant other mad daily.... at least. She does want a gun to call her own, but she refuses anything but a pink one.....

Niiiiiiiice one Ramp, I saw those in person at SHOT Shot in January this year, I just came back after 5 days prepping and setting up the booth at NRA.........now packed and on my way home at the Minneapolis airport.

I had some nice talks with some US Army armorers and a nice fellow from Sabre Defence Industries.........aaaghhhhh could I have spent alot on goodies.

The armorer told me about a 300WSM rifle capable of 5MOA at 1000y It won the world sniper competition this year?? Yikes............nice 22 you've got there. I'm looking for a MP5 clone in 9mm or .40 to add to my collection.

Going to make a small road trip down to Greeley (Hi Mayo!!!) to check out Colorado Shooting Sports - Home and then over to Jensen Arms (where I got the GSG5) and then up to Ft Collins (Hi Julie!!!) Rocky Mountain Shooters Supply and home.

Should hopefully be a nice roadtrip!!!

What are you guys using for ammo in your handguns? .45, preferably. I'm looking for a flawlessly dependable round, and clean, for when I start carrying concealed.

As for not carrying, I'm looking for a good range ammo that's cheap and plentiful for practice (NOT Wolf). I've been using Federal American Eagle. Any suggestions?

Good luck with the cheap and pleantiful thing... I think Federal is probably the best bang for your buck and you can pick it up at ****s sporting goods for about 130 bucks a case on sale from time to time.

I reload my own ammo and its still not cheap... This is why I'm ordering a .22 drop in conversion for my AR.

I carry gold dots (speer) as my defensive round in both my Kahr PM40, and in my G19. Usually practice with Lawman (speer) fmj's. I've used blazer aluminum stuff (also speer) but its almost the same as the lawman, and I can save my brass.

For .223 I reload, lots and lots of reloading
