Default Moving out

I'm sure I have intoduced myself, but
have been convinced that I should post, just incase anyone here should wonder!

Those that follow the US Kawasaki, BMW or Fireblade forums will notice that I've been about a little less lately!
The BM's and Fireblade have now been sold. Trailer too.
Now just a van, caravan, one bike (the ER) and a boat!

Brisbane traffic is the main reason for keeping the bike, four hours a day grid-lock sees to that!

I can now positively confirm that it is colder to live in a caravan than a (shed on stilts) Queenslander, this time of year – I'm hoping to be out before summer comes, as I am sure that will be quite simply a boil in a 'tinny' experience...

After two weeks living this way and working full time on our new project, that is a good enough reason to have not been able to 'surf' the net forums as I have been recently (now full time retired, but working harder).
Though I have had reason to keep in touch with the house boat forum, my best source of
info' for my new home!

We've now got full ownership of our new home, a 27 meter ex naval port resupply vessel.
That is a real boat (my opinion), iron hull, engine, generator and can still navigate!
We've spent the last week and a half ripping out the accommodation area and are still ongoing with that.
As soon as the basics are back in for living, that will then be our home!
The boat is out of the water at the moment, being cleaned and treated. All going well we should be re-floated in less than a month from now (two weeks is the official estimate).
As often happens, we are staying at a friends tonight, so, as the girlie's are in bed, I can
get some net time. After the last two weeks plus, using a Eee PC, the chance to use a desktop with a 19” CRT is just fantastic!!
Things got a little hectic before we moved out of Ipswich...
We moved into Ipswich late last year, very hot. So, I can say with all honesty, we moved out
at the right time, a lot cooler (no, no,no! Ipswich is a great place to live, honest!).
That meant that just about everything we own that isn't used on a daily basis is now safely locked up in storage. A bit of a pain, but, that is the only way we have of living how we need to right now.

I cant post any decent photo's until we get things a little more organized, but if I keep the last bike and still post at these forums, some photo's will appear. Loads of photo's, mostly real ones from a roll of 35mm film and a friends digital thinggy (monstrosity, not figured those things out yet, the missus normally has our digital thing in her handbag, with the batteries used in her mp3).

I've got some castings to pick up, as promised on Monday, plus we cannot stay in the caravan this weekend etc etc, so...
I'd been talking to the missus about doing a bike rally, haven't had the chance in the last couple of years, but did attend the 'Ride for Daniel'.
Since being in Aus' sounds lame, but with this whole country to explore, family visiting, that is four years that have gone very quick indeed.
So, this weekend ya might just get to see what I look like if you go to the Winter Gnome rally in Queensland.

A boat with no name, that is how it will have to be.
We (me and the missus, just to clarify that bit) have not yet confirmed between ourselves
just what to call her yet. Though I've a nice piece of wood painted up with what I
want – Wayvern -

This may seem an odd post, but, thanks to my good friend Dave (from the BM forum), who is currently looking over my right shoulder and who's beer I'm drinking, an uneducated fellow who hates Guinness. What else can I do?

He will hate me as he has to be up to go to work at 6am.
