man... this really sucks...
Some girls just messeged me and wanted me to come out and hang out and I'm stuck at work... THIS SUCKS!!! I'm prolly going to have to put in overtime tonight too so there is prolly no way I'll even get to show up late. Theres always tomarrow I guess.

And offer to buy lunch if she'll stop, pick it up and bring it by. If she's not willing to put up with a little inconvenience with your money, she's not worth spending time with. Be sure to tell her only what you absolutely will not eat, "but anything you get will be fine". Maybe suggest a good chef salad. And be sure to introduce her to a few people- makes her feel important, like you're not embarrassed to be seen with her. Throw in a "honey" or "babe" as appropriate: that helps, too. Gotta think about next time, not just today.
