Thanks to the economy, i had to break down and buy a weedeater and mower so i can do my own lawnwork. The mower is a 4 stroke so theres no problem there. The weedeater is a Troy-bilt that requires 40:1 ratio. It came with synthetic oil and i have been since looking for synthetic 2 stroke oil. (I like synthetic. I need this thing to last!)
So far all i have been able to find synthetic oil in marine grade. Is it OK to use Marine grade TC-W3 for my weedeater? I wouldnt see why it would hurt, but the only thing i see is that marine 2 stroke oils are for water cooled engine, not air cooled. Any experts want to chime in? Thanks

thanks deron. i figured it would. if anything it would probably be better right? all that added protection of the additives would protect the engine as best possible
