How About the Best Front Woman?

We've covered the men, what about the girls? I'm not asking for your favorites, or the best looking - who was the best? There's been a ton of great ones over the years, I'm kinda partial to some of the women from 60s R&B, but this is my choice.

She helped launch rock in a whole new direction, and as a pretty, young white girl singing about the things she did, she scared the crap out of middle class America. Doesn't get much more rock 'n' roll than that. Unfortunately, she's also responsible for what I consider the worst song in rock history.
