Cornbread and chili for lunch today. I also like it with butter & honey and in buttermilk (like cereal except not sweet). I guess, like Spok, I just like cornbread.

I make mine in an omlet pan and put cheese, corn, sometimes shrimp or crawfish tails.

Cornbread with honey and butter is heaven.

How can you not eat cornbread?

Um, don't put on your dinner plate....or something....I guess.

Tell you what, nothing like a hot cup of coffee with a cornbread muffin to start your day.

Mmmmm, Cornbread.

I like to make it with little corn kernels mixed in with the batter.
Sometimes I'll chop up some sausage links, or cocktail weenies, and toss them in too, then bake it all together to serve on the side with some scrambled eggs.
Now THAT'S what I call a good breakfast.

...dang, now I'm hungry.

Cornbread and blackeyed peas on New Year's Day. One of the best traditions EVER! Full of history, and tastes damned good. Makes me proud to have been born a Southern boy!!

I love cornbread. I can't understand people that don't, like my husband. But at least I always get his cornbread.

I had cornbread for breakfast!

I like the fluffy, sweeter northern-style cornbread, and I slather it with butter and honey when it's hot out of the oven. YUMMY!

My daughter likes a little molasses and honey on hers. That's the way sailors used to eat their cornbread.

Spok, good thread! Now I'm going to go eat my lunch!

Yep - isn't the tradition that it is suppose to bring you good luck throughout the year?
