Question Photobucket problems

For some reason, when I log onto Photobucket I get a partial page, like the standard format won't load or something and I only get a very basic menu that scrolls down the left hand side. Can't upload pictures at all.

I'm assuming that their must be a program in my computer that is in need of updating or something, in order to display Photobucket correctly?

If I could use Photobucket, then I could post up a printscreen.............

yeah, it seems to be a user specific issue. I have no problems at all when i go into my account. I"m not sure what the deal is, photobucket for me has always been very slow. can you at least get to a point to see their contact us option?

I checked a few of the FQ's. Tryed a couple troubleshooting things that are associated with viewing issues. I updated my Java program, I cleared all my cookies, I re-booted my computer (twice) and I still get a strange viewing Photobucket. It's like it just won't load properly.

No.
I can't actually find an email address anywhere. Just lots of troubleshooting "advice".

What browser are you running, and have you checked to see if there are any updates for it?

Is it possible that you've hit the limit for storage on PB?

Doesn't seem so. I found that I can upload using their new "bulk uploaded", but not upload individual pictures using the old system.

Anyways, thanks for the help everyone.

My problem is that when I try to post pics on a thread, when I preview it I get the text and no pics. Any suggestions?

I get that bug too. If I start a thread here and link to actual an actual picture image everything is fine......but if I respond in a post with a picture then only the link comes up.

I have found that if you either quote a post and add the picture image, or use the advanced post reply option then your picture will show up.

I think that's that bug in the forum software that's biting you on that. You have to be in "advance mode" when it involves a post with pictures or it removes the IMG tags.

At any rate, have you tried turning off the phishing filter on the new IE software? It's possible that is blocking it. Also, make sure you aren't running any script-blocking software as that will cause you not to see your stuff.

I would also download Firefox and try that to see if it's a browser issue or a plugin or Windows issue. If Firefox doesn't work, either, than it's either a plugin or a Windows setting that's the problem.

Carlo, I figured out your problem from just the posting of the Photobucket pic.
You seem to be using Microsoft windows XP. I would say that is a fairly good sign of where the problem is coming from.
