That's cool!!! It's a Small World After All (pun intended). How about keeping up with 15 high school girls in a place that large!! I think I aged 5 years in those 5 days Body count top floor of the Caribbean 15 teenage girls, 2 coaches, 1 principal, 10 parents. Body count bottom floor of the Caribbean at least 100 teenage boys from several lacrosse teams all over the country.

It's this little hole-in-the-wall amusement park in Orlando. Orlando is a city in the state of Florida...you know that state that just kind of hangs down off of the country?

I've heard the California Disney is an absolute joke.

Disney in Orlando is the real deal. Disney in Orlando is the size of an entire city. There is NOTHING like Disney in Orlando. Nothing compares.

By the way Disneyland is just fine.

And I'm sure that Disneyworld is fine too.

One other thing to consider is that mid September to mid October is Love bug season. I recommend you stay away from that time of the year! A couple years beck, we went the week before Thanksgiving, and it was great! Still warm enough that you could walk around without a jacket and almost no lines anywhere!

I'm going to Disney in Florida in about 5 days. Staying on the resort for I believe 6 days total. Never been there but it sounds like fun. I'm going with a group of coworkers ranging between 27 to 36 years old. I'm not really into the rides and stuff but I'm sure I'll find a few things to entertain me while were there. My friends booked it so I forgot where we're staying but I know they got some all inclusive deal thingy for food and the park hopper passes and whatnot.

I don't know where you went but Love Bug season in Florida is in May/June. It is a HORRIBLE thing with lovebugs down here.

There is a theory here in Florida.... the outcome of lovebug season in May will show you the outcome of the Hurricane season. If the lovebug season in May/June is horrible, then the hurricane season in July-Sept will be horrible.

I was told they were love bugs, but, I don't know. All I know is that there were these bugs flying around, and many dead ones around. They were all in pairs with one about an inch long and the other around 1/2 inch long. This was the last week in September, and they said it was tapering off, so I just assumed the season to be about mid September to mid October. Whether they were love bugs, or not, it was still a bad time! We couldn't walk from the parking lot to the room without having to step on the bugs that were on the ground!

Also, I just took the time to check them out on a wiki and it says there are 2 seasons, May-June and August-September, and the picture looks exactly like what I saw...

Cool Beans. If you thought the August- September thing was bad, then don't plan on coming May-June, cuz its a horrid sight. It's so bad, you can't see the paint on the front of your car because the entire bumper is covered in love bugs.

And here's a tip.... if you do get tons of love bugs on either your car or your bike, wash your bike immediately. Love bugs contain a chemical that eats paint away.

Have fun in Disney.... take pics!

Here are the 2009 Value Season dates:

2009 Value Season - All Days Season

January 1, 2009 12:00:00 AM PST-February 12, 2009 12:00:00 AM PST

July 19, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT-October 1, 2009 12:00:00 AM PDT

November 29, 2009 12:00:00 AM PST-December 17, 2009 12:00:00 AM PST

I think the best time is late January - early February. Only problem is that you won't want to get on the plane for the flight back home.
