There have been numerous questions about Flushmount turn signals,
so it only makes sense to have a thread for them. So here it is, Post the good, the bad, and the ugly about any Flushmount Solutions you find. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kicking things off is my own reveiw of AsianCycle. I wanted a sleeker, more streamlined look for my Ninja 250, and I didn't like the options I had seen so far. None of them were the right size or shape, and most of them looked slapped on at best. Then I came across AsianCycle on Ebay, and it looked like just what I was searching for. They had a sleek shape, were the right size (close enough at least), and they used Color Rite to ensure a proper color match (be careful when ordering a red, more on that in a moment). The $25 price seemed reasonable, even with the $9 shipping charges. That was enough for me, I ordered a set, and promptly received an order confirmation, and voila, 3 weeks later my signals arrived. That's when I realized, either the website had a typo, or I just didn't pay close enough attention...they were the WRONG COLOR! I had ordered and received Firecracker Red, but my Bike was Sunbeam Red, Aaaarrrgghhh! Well I have to say, Keith at AsianCycle was very professional and courteous to deal with, He made the exchange process as painless as possible. But then I screwed up and sent the package back by Regular Parcel Post, and it was taking a long time to get back. As most of you know, I have to sell this bike, so I was getting anxious, once again Keith understood and arranged to simply give me credit when the package eventually arrived. So now I just ordered another set, this time in Sunbeam Red. Tick-tock, 3 weeks and here come my new signals. The Installation: The Box comes shipped directly from Thialand, and it shows the rigors of it's journey. But the packing is adequate, and the contents are undamaged. Everything you need is included, and seperately wrapped. Here we go, OEM Signals are off, and we're ready to begin. The Quality and Finish is very good, and thanks to Color Rite, the paint match is Spot-On. They come with Clear lenses, unless you specify Amber as I did. The Black Base Plates that come with the signals really make the installation look neat and complete. I also used them to mark the cutout needed for the bulb inset into the Fairing. My first attempt is kind of sloppy, but I eventually make it better, and the left side is much neater the first time through. While I had the heat-shrink connectors out, I took the opportunity to make the wiring for the new integrated tail a little neater. The End Results...let's just say I am quite pleased. Based on my experience as a whole, I would recommend AsianCycles' products to my friends and associates. Two Thumbs Up! ![]()

Tod: Looks good! I installed some cat-eyes this weekend on my bike because I just couldn't find any flush-mounts that were true turn signals (two wire leads--not three). I noticed that the pic of the flushmounts looked like there were two leads, not three--did you swap out the internals form the OEM's or did you just go with front turn signals no running lights? Thanks!

eidian - They come with two leads from the vendor, they are true turn signals, no running lights.

I did the cheap and easy mod, just bought some new pigtail sockets and put them in the turn-signal pods, and then cut the plastic fender off the back.
I found the 'how to' on cutting the fender here. I chose to just leave some of the fender hanging down in the rear to serve as 'Tabs' for mounting the license plate bracket, but others have mentioned that making a new metal bracket is more secure.
