1000R Mod

So i got this 86 Ninja 1000R and i'm looking to trick it out a bit. Already lined up some 17" wheels and have recently had my pipes painted. My next step is something i wanted to ask about before i invested in it. The zx11 and my bike are very similar. (finally the question) Would i be able to take the zx11 upper fairing/cowling and set it up on the 1000R for an updated look?

as long as it isnt too wide or too narrow to wrap around the front of the bike, then anything is possible. you may need to do some alterations but with a some time, creativity and faness, it will work
