900 custom aftermarket grip install

I have an 07 900 custom and need some answers. i just purchased new 1" grips and so far i have gotten my stock grips off but had some questions. on the throttle side i noticed a plastic throttle sleeve cover that the stock grip was glued to. the grips i bought do not come with any type of instructions or throttle sleeves so i was wondering if i can use that stock sleeve again? how should i install the grip on the throttle side - is really what i'm asking. i am good with the clutch side just the right side. please let me know asap!

Do a test fit on the sleve if it fits then get out the super glue & glue it on, some have used Gorrlila Glue good stuff

+1 I just put mine right on the throttle sleeve.

Whoever named Gorilla Glue was absolutely right.

That stuff holds with the strength of a Silverback.

Windshield and Glass Sealer works very well too.

OK - thank you. So i am assuming you have put aftermarket grips on? Did you install the throttle grip right over the plastic stock throttle sleeve?
