Nice looks great. Question will the bulb burn out quickly? Couldn't you just have changes the bulb? I recently changed my Grips and relocated the license plate waiting for my new taillight I have no rear blinkers. I am trying to figure out if there is any way to cover the gap in the fender where the plate was. Anyone?

Changing the bulb and installing a HID kit is completely different. The kit is a lot brighter. And the bulb lasts a very long time.

Does anybody know what sealed beam bulb is used in a VN500? Can I convert a VN500 to HID?

I have a couple of questions for any of you who have done this and have now had time to try it out...

A. Do you feel like you can see better than with the 80/100 wagner bulb?

B. What does this do to the beam pattern? (I really like the way it throws light with an original bulb... but I don't know what this will do to it!)

I drive A LOT at night, and anything I can do to get more light, and lower wattage would be wonderful! I am afraid that adding a light bar would be pushing the limits for the electrical system...
