Default Hints and Tips... maybe a new sticky or Topic area.

Not trying to touch another man's grill or anything but I was thinking that this board needed an area for neat tips and tricks that other riders have used to get past problematic areas or just freaking cool ideas that save time effort and frustration.

Forgive me for being naive if this is already in the board and I haven't been savvy enough or toiled long enough to find it.

Here goes...
#1 I can't thank ol' what's his face here with the suggestion of grinding on a sparkplug socket to make it fit. Tool kit for my old bike is long gone and it just took about 15 minutes on the bench grinder to make it fit.

#2 Aluminum Foil...the cheap stuff from a dollar store, or the cubic crap ton that you can get at Cosco or Sam's club... Have to give credit to a friend of mine who worked as a Nuke Tech back in the 70s.. they took aluminum foil and used it to mask wires and other parts before painting. You can bend it and press it into place to conform to whatever surface needs to be masked, it does require tape and it will not bleed through.

I'd love to learn more tricks.
