I can't. I have to go to Toledo, OH the following weekend for work. Momma won't let me out of the house.

I am riding there though. 746mi there, then back. All I have to do is get on 90w, then take a right. I'm leaving Thursday morning, and coming back Monday. My boss asked, then told me what the event is... RIBS 4 RED CROSS!!! Columbia Gas of Ohio Smoke on the Water 2009 Ribs for the Red Cross I think he's sending the right guy. Mapquest says 12hrs, I think I can do it in 10. Now I've got to hook up power outlets for my GPS, and a radar detector. I don't think I'll get another verbal for another 10yrs.

Up to you all if you want to reschedule or what. Chris if you want to do a similar ride but I'll detour a little and we'll do the twistys on 116 just south of the mohawk trail I should still be able to do it plus could do Mt. greylock. Here's the video of the ride down from the summit. Speed limit on the road is 15mph and trust me you don't want to do a whole lot more than that. LOL

The money simply isn't there for us to do this ride... registering the Jeep by the end of the month is more important right now. Maybe we could do something later on in the summer....

I'd say David's out too.... I got a text from him saying he lost the motor in the meanie and was on the side of I-81 in PA.... he said the thinks the engine case was cracked

Ouch!!!!! losing the motor really sucks. I can understand the money aspect of determining when you can ride or not, well long trips. We got till the snow falls so it's not a big issue. Gotta figure out a Newport run with Frenchy too. geeee
sooo many miles and so little time.

yeah, i'm probably out of riding for the summer. just got the bike trailered from the side of the interstate down to ImpactG and MeanGirl's house down in Harrisburg. won't know for a bit what the actual problem is, but i think i cracked the engine case and caused some internal damage.

Damn that's a shame Dave and to be so far from home no less. Best of luck my friend.

Well if you still want to ride on the 25th we can do that rte.116 ride (nice twistys and sweeps then head up to Mt. Greylock like I showed you on the video and from there it's a short hop over to the Mohawk trail or we can do Rt. 103 out of Rutland Vt. then stops at Curtis. BBQ yummy. LOL then you could head back on Rte. 2. Question is would you want to get out here via Rt. 2 or the Mass Pike??? Would be a log day for ya again but fantastic roads. Anyone else want to jump in feel free too.
