Ok Chris figure then if the weather is good on the 24th we'll do the 116 and mt.greylock run and play it by ear the rest of the trip. Which is easier for you getting out to here. Rt.2 like last time or Mass. Pike to Springfield?? Could meet up like last time around 9 a.m. or even earlier if you want. Just have to figure where is easier for you to meet.

LOL typing error. yupper 25th Could meet at that McDonalds again. From there would head south on 91 about 7 miles to the next exit to hit Rt. 116
To leave the Mcdonalds on the mohawk trail and go down to Rt. 116 then over rt. 9 to rt.7 up to the top of Mt. Greylock then back down and run over the mohawk trail back to meet up point is only 117 miles and about 3 hrs ride do to some speed restrictions and traffic etc. LOL

If you follow Rte 2 west into Greenfield, Ma. you'll join up with Rte. 91 South to Exit 26 which will put you back on to Rte. 2 West. go off exit bear right and the McDonalds is on the left at the traffic light. 9-930 or what ever works for you. I might be having my Nephew along. He had an 800 Maruader but just traded in on a 2006 vulcan 1500 says now maybe he can do longer rides. LOL

Its a money-factor, not a babysitting factor.

Sell the kids then. I traded mine in on the Vulcan. LOL
Ok it's still a go on the trip. July 25 Now weather saying clear but muggy.
Figure on Meeting up at the base of the Mohawk Trail at the McDonalds by the rotary off of rt.91 & rt. 2. Lets say around 9a.m. Total miles for ride from meet up back to meet up area should be about 175 miles. The actual miles aren't that long but ya gotta figure from you're home point to meet up point. For me this means about a 250 mile or so ride. There will be several places to fuel if need be. Gas station across from meet up point also. I'm thinking we'll stop at the Famous Curtis BBQ in Putney Vt. directions around 1-1:30 pm. It's about a 1/2 from the meetup point. So those coming from out Boston way on Rt.2 (Chris) this will work out for your return home. If we make better time or decide we want to strecth it out more then we have a couple other options heading north a little more. Up you ya'll
So I'm in, I know Chris is in, I have my nephew joining in (just bought a 2006 Vulcan 1500 Anniversay Classic) and maybe a friend of his from Ct.
Anyone else??? or any suggestions?

Meetup area. McD Base of Mohawk Trail

Damn......I wanna go, but still can't ride.......my bike is stinking dusty sitting in the garage unable to be ridden.......really breaking my heart.

Should have some answers in the coming weeks......."hopefully" I'll be able to ride it again........or someone's gonna get a deal on a 1500 Classic.

Still got lots of good (warm) weather left. We'll be doing much more rides in Western Ma and of course a Frenchy ride down in R.I. he's going to show us around. Plus there's Ct. and Maine again sometime. Sooo you miss this one it's not a big deal we'll be doing more in the next 4 months.
My nephew just bought an 06 1500 classic anniversary with only 5500 miles on. I got to try it. All I can say is wow. What a bike. I was happy with my 900 LT up until now. LOL

Ok partial revision. Chris is now meeting us off the Mass pike at exit 6 Springfield, Ma. Off the exit bear right and there will be a McDonalds on the left 1/4 mile up. Also a gas station across the street if need be. Anyone coming from the Ct., Worcester Ma area or Rhode Island that wants to join us meet us there about 9 a.m. If anyone is coming from the northern part let us know and we'll meet ya at the Rt. 2 Greenfield McDonalds. Otherwise we'll depart from the Exit 6 mass pike location.

I hear you on 4 months, but nobody can seem to answer why my arm doesn't work.......other than nerve damage. I'm not feeling warm and fuzzy been outta work 2 months now and there is no comp, bank acct is depleting rapidly.

I think I've had every MRI and Xray known to man......I see an Ortho specialist tomorrow, and a nuerosurgeon in mid august.....just want an answer.
