Do you know how hard it is trying to decide which bike to take up there?

The connie will be competent, fun, and more weather resistant.

The triumph will be sporty-comfortable, and a blast in the curves.

The buell will be raw torque pulling out of the curves.

Geez.....

hey...I'm not working right now!

I got to thinking about it. A new bike easily costs 12 grand these days. I have 10 grand in my three bikes and have the option of which one to take. A much better solution in my mind.

Not if you are supporting two households and just found out your 3 year old roof is leaking every where and needs to be replaced.

Aye what a dillema!
I wish I had a job, I would be working on having the same problem. For the record, I hear the police have been really cracking people on the dragon this year so the connie might be a better bet at staying a "little" less noticeable. Something tells me the buell might catch an eye or two with that sound and the triumph is sure to call to your right hand often enough to be asking for it.

Just my 2 cents........

Of course, you could hire a trailer, take all three, and ride one after the other after the other........

We went last week on Wednesday and saw only one LEO, and he was a TN sheriff's deputy having lunch in NC. Trust me, no one on that road was taking it easy or worried about noise that day.

yeah...I think weekends are when they are truely thick. We're planning on riding it on Friday to stay away from the bulk of the weekend warriors. Saturday we're riding to Helen for a nice german beer for lunch. Only one beer though. Gotta be in shape to ride back!

We are heading to Helen the day before we meet up with you. Can't believe it's almost here.

Helen is a nice day ride too. it's right at 100 miles to get there. Find GA 248 on a map and try to ride that road on the way down. it's a nice one. Come back on 75, then head east on 64 over to Franklin, then take 28 north out of Franklin. They are all terrific roads.

Ryan, don't get TOO excited. We have to ride back!!!

Don't be messing with Sugar Baby!
I told him that if you give him any trouble on this trip, he can just walk his happy butt down to my room and sleep with me!

That's close to what we did too. One suggestion, do the east side of Chatuge Lake. it's a nice ride through there.

OK, I'm going but will be there this weekend and I'm not sure which day(s). This was a last minute thing since we are going to visit family in Knoxville over the holiday. Figured I'd just take the bike down
