Hey guys - we made it back Sunday night - soaking wet. That rain gear only holds up so long. Me and my 2 riding buddies had a great time with everyone there, so thanks for the invitation. Looking forwards to our next trip already - lol. In spite of the rain, I got plenty of video (almost 5 hours of it), but I hosed up my PC trying to upgrade the processor, so it'll be a couple of weeks before I can upload some video of our rides. Heck - a little rain never stopped a Ninja.

I hated living in NJ until i started riding and saw parts of the state that really made me appreciate it. Now I just dislike NJ.

I left in '77, back when I80 stopped, along with the urban sprawl, in Netcong. Warren and Sussex counties were still rural and pristine back then and Hackettstown was the "big city".

Hence the FJR.

I ordered some new lexan today to make a new shield for the C-10. Going to make it a bit taller and see how it does with wind diversion.

I went with Cee Baileys +2+2. Could stand it to be bigger for the winter I think.

I got a 24x24 sheet. that will give me about an inch more on each side, and height should be close to 4 inches taller, but it'll be different because it'll be back further than the stock one. The stock one has a lip that curls forward on it to a perpendicular position for about 2 inches at the top.

Eventually, I'll look like one of those goldwings with those long swept-back windshields.
