Jassen, you need a windshield. Ken, thanks for lunch. Curtis, loved the faring, but go try out that V2K.

Looking forward to the next time I can join you guys.
Skip, it was a pleasure meeting you also. You are right.. that ride would be perfect in june or july..lol. Although I really want a bigger bike.. I am going to have to wait at least a year.. and I know going to ride one will only get me in trouble..lol

Heck Curtis your's wasn't nothing to sneeze about plus you got a great deal on e-bay for it. How high is your windshield on that by the way. I'm also wondering about what you were saying about wind and highway giving you move movement with the fairing vs. the windshield. Majority of my riding is like on the roads we were on the other day but I do hop on the highways at times. I like the look of the fairing better than the regular shield but then again I paid more for the bike since I got the LT to have all the stuff already on it but thinking of changing out. LOL hindsite OMG I sit here not with OEM seat and maybe soon to be OEM windshield etc. Should of spent the extra on a Nomad at the time. Oh well the 900LT is still a fine machine

I think it really depends on how much wind.. I was up at the quabbin today and it was windy going up but not as bad as saturday and it was fine. I initially got an 8" shield but it was too low.. I got the 10" and it is 100x better.

Wished I knew you were going to the Quabbin. Sat around doing nothing much the rode around the area for a little bit. The Memphis shade fairing has option for 9" shield which I think I'd go with. Then again I haven't looked at e-bay for harley ones for awhile. Oh the decisions. LOL

I'm out, Pumpkin Fest in Keene, have to keep the wife happy too.

I found a pair of ski pants I had and used them to ride into work yesterday, they kept me pretty warm. Until I can get some chaps I'll use them.

Now they're saying rain again for Sat. Oh well. Sunday I go back to work so riding much is out of the question. Sounds like snow coming early.
I hear ya on keeping wife happy. Off all week but will spend most of it putting new floor in one of the rooms.

Well even though cold got out for a three state ride with Jassen Aka. .22 and Ken my nephew. Ran thru southwestern Ma. into Ct. along rt. 44 out to Millerton, NY then up to Great Barrington, Ma. Stopped at Barkhampstead Res.
Still had a little color. Was a chilly ride.

.22 (Jassen) on the far left (ya that's his best side. LOL) and his bike on the far left.

Only 150 mile ride but since is was around 48 (not taking in wind/chill from riding) we didn't stop to do a lot of pics. Was a great ride again Jassen.
Thanks

Always a pleasure riding with you and Ken. I've learned that cold weather riding leaves "my best side" little more sore than usual. lol
