Any of you guys riding today.. Was thinking of heading up to the Quabbin. Not sure yet. If I go would probably be there around noon time..

My bike started making funny noises while on Rt 1 today. I managed to get it about a mile from home before it died on me. I think one of the cylinders may have seized up.

Wanted to do a decent ride today but slept late and wife bugging me to pull up the carpet in spare room and lay a new floor. Umm That's a winter project now riding season project.

Geesh First a last minuet head cold and missed the last ride now you go an break your new bike. If ya don't want to ride with us just say so.
On a serious note though sorry to hear about your bike. Hope it's nothing serious. I think the bikes are telling you to go cruiser style not sports bike. LOL Hope it's a minor problem and will be ok next weekend.

The ones I got there were $49 LOL and serve the purpose. Have had them a couple years and they holding up. Not that far from you either.

Bummer Chris.. that doesnt sounds good at all.. Its still under warranty I hope..

Still got the bike as I haggle with potential buyers over price, but I was away all weekend. My irish Nana is passing, so she can't be alone for even a moment. I literally sat with her from 5am Saturday morning until 1pm Sunday afternoon. It was sad and grueling. She just wants to die already, but for some reason, her body is hanging on...

But I still have the bike. Its torture really. I'm afraid to ride it in case I have an accident and then its not worth a dime. But at the same time, these are the last decent days until winter comes fast, and I haven't ridden her in weeks. I wish someone would hurry up and buy her, so I didn't have to see her out every window of my apartment!!

Still early for weather to change. Local (springfield) now saying light rain Friday nite into Sat. morning ending midmorning???? Now calling for high of 63 but heck we New England Yankee's ain't notin'''

Not yet. The dealership is closed Sunday & Monday's. Will have to get it towed there tomorrow and I figure at least 24 hours after that before I hear from them how bad it is damaged internally.
Trust me, from the sounds it was making, this may take a while and lots of $$. I just hope it was something that is covered under warranty.

Just my luck. If Saturday turns into a bust and Sunday is nice can anyone make it Sunday? If it needs to be a shorter ride so people can get ready for the Monday work day we can figure something out too.

Edit- Forgot Warren would be out if it's a sunday ride.

I can do Sunday but temps in Bennington, Low 36, High 54. A little too cold for me to start out at 8AM.

Is Monday a holiday? Maybe move the route a bit south for Sunday, The leaves in NE Ct are not only changing but dropping like wildfire.

Yuppa just saw the weather, don't think that's something I wanta get into after not being on the bike since may. Call me a wuss, but at this point I only want nice weather as I missed all the good stuff....lol

Tues afternoon just checked weather again. Says showers Fri. nite till Sat. morning ending before 7 a.m. Sat. We'll have to watch this one closely. If it becomes a wash (no pun intended) for Sat. I can do Sunday. Mon. is holiday for a lot of people. if due to temps we need to keep it south more that's no problem. I know a route that would keep us no more north than Lee, Ma but have us hit 3 states. LOL Nice roads and scenic also. Would not be affected by departure point either.
