Springfield area they are saying rain will end before 7 a.m. Umm looks like the storm is moving west to east. Wonder why they say 9 a.m. there.

Ok weather people can't get their act together. Says drizzle ending by 7 now so I guess it's a crap shoot. Up to you all. Postpone for Sunday or Next week or take a chance. I know later in the morning it'll be good.
Colors are Peak in Vt. now and just before Peak in the Bershires so we have options at least. I'll keep checking back on the site to see what's going on.

Not sure where everyone else is coming from but I'm about 50 minutes to the meet up. I guess what I'm saying is I can wait until the morning to decide if that works for everyone else.

If not, I can do next weekend as this Sunday is now booked because my son came home from college unexpectedly tonight and will need a ride back to school.

Skip Curtis just called me. He's still going to try and make it but will call me early in the morning to let me know. Long ride from Rhode Island. LOL If for some reason it looks like a wash (no pun intended) for Sat. I'll call you.

We should be in Bennington Center if we go by 12-1230 Was wondering if you all would want to do lunch here. Blue Benn Diner - Bennington, VT
I've been by this diner on and off for over 20 yrs (no parking for big rigs) Always busy and have heard it was good. If not we can find something else

Just got home. That was an awesome ride! Thanks for leading Warren. It was nice to meet everyone and a pleasure riding with you all. If I made too many newbie mistakes I apologize. Can't wait to see the video and pics.

That wasn't too bad Curtis. Pretty close to the time you wanted. Next time we'll have to ride a little closer to you though. No sense you making all the long rides to ride. LOL Oh ya love the fairing setup you have.

Warren- It was my pleasure to meet you and thanks for setting this up and allowing me to join in the fun. It was a great route that I would love to do again...in June or July

Jassen, you need a windshield. Ken, thanks for lunch. Curtis, loved the faring, but go try out that V2K.

Looking forward to the next time I can join you guys.

For sure it would of been more enjoyable if the weather was a tad warmer but all in all had a great day. Was a pleasure meeting you and looking forward to more rides together.

Just got back from Hogback, yes again. This time I took the wife up there in the car. It was much better up there yesterday. Today its about 45, very windy and bitter.

Curtis- If I were to look for that fairing you have on what am I looking for and where would I look for it? Thanks

I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks to Ken for lunch.

Jassen I was thinking about a fairing also last time I saw Curtis. LOL I found this by accident and I think if I were to go with a fairing I would spend the little extra maybe and get it specfically for the 900. Pricing it with the quick release, wind deflectors, and 9 in. shield comes to $439. Not a bad deal either and it looks like it can be used with the light bar. I like the looks of it.

I actually found a fairing on ebay. It had road rash that I fixed with bondo etc. I then got a pair of memphis shades mounts for a hellcat I think for the upper mountings and made up the lower brackets. It was all based on this Adapt a Harley Davidson Fairing To Practically Any Cruiser . I know there are companies out there that have them with the radio etc already included and look a lot nicer.
