Would love to meet up with you guys there. I voted for the 3 days because it's all day back to Southeastern NC from the Marlinton area. I've been wanting to get up to Marlinton on the bike and this would be a good excuse....Good riding and good fellowship with fellow riders. Will definitely try to work this one in.

Debbie, I don't know if the OCI will have enough rooms to accomodate everyone. How many are you expecting?

I'll have to look up some names. There is another place on the river with a few rooms and I think another motel on the other side of the river. The folks at Old Clark Inn could suggest some alternatives for us too though. The one by the river does not have many rooms, but it's only 3 blocks or so to walk there, which would be nice.

How many people/rooms did you guys have last year Deb?

Not as many as the year before. I think we had 5 or 6 rooms. We are hoping to have more this year.

Oh, then they should have room at OCI as long as they haven't got another group at that same time.

I'll be there and maybe we can get a few folks from the south to join us. Can't miss out on being this close and not being part of the hoopla!

Carie and I don't care either way. I will more than likely be able to get all the days off, but it will depend on Carie's schedule since she starts a new job In two days. We may have to come down and meet you guys down there Friday and then come home Sunday if she can swing a 3 day weekend.

Carie got a job as a department manager at Toys R Us, it is more money but for those that work retail jobs know it can suck until you get Vacation time.

Actually, I stayed there one night this summer on a ride. It was OK, nothing fancy, but there isn't much to choose from in that area. I think they had a swimming pool out back, but not positive.

Yo Gary buddy! Yea...it's been WAY TOO long since we've seen you. I wish it was carpal tunnel. That would be an easy fix. I have arthritis in both thumbs (diagnosed about a year ago). I get a lot of pain in my hands and when I ride my hands go numb. I've been taking anti-inflammatory drugs for the past year but it did squat. I want to talk to my doctor to see what other options are out there. I saw a commercial for Tylenol Arthritis. Might give that a whirl.

Sandy, how can someone as young and good lookin' as you have arthritis?

Now myself on the other hand..... I have arthritis in my spine, thankfully, it doesnt' bother me too often.

Maybe try another doctor for another opinion. You never know, they may have an idea on something else you can try.
