Count me in for Sunday the 18th boyz... I planned the route last time... it's your turn! Hawk's Nest is always fun though. I also did a ride through the Water Gap end of last season that was great. We stopped at Dingman's falls too. Nice scenery and stuff.

ok how many miles ya all? Cause I need to know before i plan it out.

I am thinking meet somewhere in / near ringwood, or even chatterbox thats ok too...

do the loop around green wood lake, go up through warwick to port jervis, take river road in port jervis out to route 206, stop at flatbrook taphouse for a deep fried calzone then finish off by going through some roads there maybe back to rosses corner... but if we meet in or near ringwood first, like ringwood state park lets say then we can cut down and take margret king ave acros then up to east shore road, then follow that up to green wood lake

theres tons of different ways...

just throw me some #'s

I am thinking 100 - 200 miles I forgot what we did last time, I have my own bike and so I am down for anything

How bout we just go middle of the road and plan on 150 miles. If we feel like deviating at some point, there's really nothing stopping us.

I like port jervis and all but we hit that up last time an well be going there for the annual PA ride, got any other ideas just to spice it up a bit?

Sounds like fun but I have to work that night so I'm out. Hopefully this summer I'll get off of Long Island and get a chance to ride up to Conn, NJ and upstate NY for a ride or two. Have fun to all that go.

Thanks for the input,...

Actually if I plan it right, we will only be in port jervis for 1 mile, or is that too much of PJ for ya?

haha

greenwood lake, warwick mountain, everything on the way to port jervis is pretty nice, onion fields etc...

then after port jervis - which wont be long at all, if i do it right will get us to 206 which is also very nice and after eating a flat brook tap house calzone, you wont want to ride much more anyway haha

Im open for anything really, as long as I'm on my motorcycle cruising with some friends I'm a happy camper. A change of scenery is nice though.

That calzone sounds good.... As if the gobs of cheese wasn't bad enough, they fry it too ???

Im trying to keep the scenary changed pretty well.... i think I will be doing that for the most part.

ill layout the route and ask for suggestions...

the calzone is great, you CAN get it baked but whats the sense of all that bad stuff, just to bake it? Fry it baby!!

I am in charge of the route this time.... so far i have the following:

Start = monksville dam in ringwood, nj

go to east shore road to green wood lake, around greenwood lake to 210 back to warwick turnpike, go through warwick past the drive in movie theater to route 1, route 1 to route 6 into port jervis, rive road from port jervis to route 206, to flatbrook taphouse for lunch. From there to ross's corner.
thats about 70 miles

However, instead of going to rosses corner. I am thinking of adding in some roads through stokes, then loop back around to somewhere in the middle?

suggestions are welcome... we could also meet elsewhere

cycle dude, I live in ringwood, where are you at? We can meet early then meet the other goons

We have 30 definite and 4 maybe. I plan on splitting it with another "assigned" captain. Not every will show up. Unfortuantely, the forecast isn't favorable at the moment.
