    Updated Info
Thanks to dave007 we now have a route planned. You can check it out here: Yahoo! Maps, Driving Directions, and Traffic

    Updated Info
The ride will be on Saturday, September 22nd. Meeting point and route is forthcoming however we will follow Dave007's suggestions. We will first ride into High Point, NJ and then cross state lines into Port Jervis, NY. At that point we will hit the Hawk's Nest Run in Sparrow Bush and then head into PA en route back to Jersey.

I would also like to gauge interest in having a little BBQ at my house in Central Jersey after the ride. When you confirm your attendance please let me know if you would be interested in this.

    Original Post:

Just seeing if anyone would be interested in a run through New Jersey in early to mid September... We could perhaps do a shore cruise down the length of the state from Ocean City into Cape May or go the complete opposite direction and cruise the Delaware Water Gap, cross over into PA and then track our way back. I'm open for suggestions.

I'd also entertain the idea of a forum get together at my house if y'all are up for it. I have an in-ground pool & hot tub in my backyard that's just begging for a party - anyone who wants to trek to central NJ is invited !!

Kinda short notice, I know, but I'm just getting my bike back from the shop after 2 months and I have some serious riding to catch up on - I'd like to throw up some miles on the odometer in the presence of friends before the summer is over!!

Delaware/New Jersey is little too far from Modesto CA. lol. Be sure to share some photos when you go. I wonder what it is like to ride over there where you live. Hope you have a nice party.

I live up north in Bergen County, about 2.5 hours away from Ocean City, NJ.

A BBQ/pool party in Central NJ is more do-able. Keep us posted. I'd like to get together, but my job has me traveling a good bit now, so the sooner you know, the better.

I was thinking Saturday the 8th or Sunday the 9th in September. I just found out that Roar to the Shore is being held during that weekend. We could all meet up and head on down there for a couple of hours to check it out and then track back up to central jersey for some grillin and chillin .

Just a snippet from their site:
RTTS Entertainment and Cape Classics expect 100,000 to 150,000 bikes to attend this years Roar to the Shore... The Bolero Motel and bar will host its annual Biker Bash and the annual "Biker Babe Contest" during the event. The city's restaurants, nightclubs and other establishments, too, are geared up to give a hearty welcome to the thousands of two-wheeled tourists who will be cruising into town. The "Roar to the Shore" will feature organized rides and a slew of vendors and food courts. So get your bike gassed up, put the sunscreen in the saddlebag and make those calls now to get your rooms and campsites reserved, because Bike Week in Wildwood will be here quicker than you think! You're invited - to ride free by the sea, in biker friendly Wildwood.

I'm trying to get my schedule set - I work for Rutgers and football is starting in 3 days but I have yet to have my schedule confirmed. I was thinking about sunday the 16th or Saturday the 22nd of September. Which one of those will everyone be around for?

Central Jersey... I'm in the 07726 area code if you want to googlemap it. There's two potential rides we could do:
    1) Head south down to the cape may area (southern most point of Jersey).
    2) Head northwest to the Deleware Water Gap and cruise around there.

Both of these would be around 250 miles round trip.

I'm up for a ride. High Point is also a great destination. From there, you can go west and into Port Jervis, then hit the famous Hawk's Nest run in Sparrow Bush. That's a great road. I put together a 3-state ride a while back - High Point NJ, into Port Jervis NY, then along the Delaware west on the NY side, then back across a small bridge into PA. From there, head south east and eventually back into NJ.

16th isn't so good, but the 22nd is looking fine.
