Since someone mentioned on last years PA forum ride thread that they'd like to see a BBQ, I thought I'd toss it out for Saturday. There's plenty of caterers in Wellsboro, including several right on Main Street. Course we need somewhere to hold it -- local park that anyone knows of that we can reserve a pavillion? or something else?

I found this site: The Wellsboro Area Chamber of Commerce : View the Chamber Members. Would that help any?

I'm all for BBQ.

Also just made my reservation for Port Jervis----now I just need to get through to the Sherwood.

Got my room for Friday now as well.----I'll be cutting out after the ride Saturday and heading to my Mothers for a visit since I will be so close.

Anybody?

I'll take the Saturday ride plan.

I can work on Friday dinner.

Last year we (those of us who were not pushing Cheri's bike into town ) went to the Penn Wells for their Saturday evening smorgasbord. Friday evenings are seafood night.

The Penn Wells is very nice, (maybe a little pricey). What do you all think? If you prefer something else, let me know what you want and I'll see what I can find.

JD and Jim, thanks for taking 2 things off the list for me.

The Penn Wells smorgasbord was real nice, but the restaurant isn't really set up for group socializing. Is there another restaurant in town that we could reserve our own room in and still order off of the menu, even if it's a bit further to walk from the Sherwood Motel (Timeless Destination, Harlands?)

This place sounds nice: The Antlers Inn I sent them an e-mail requesting more info. I'll also contact some family in the area to see if they know anything about it.

Timeless Destination Restaurant & Lounge - Main Street, Wellsboro Pa looks pretty enticing. Must be near dinner time Maybe your family can find out something about them too.

How long do we have to wait for this ride????
